M&W EDRG 3321 What I Think About Fiction
It was fun in class today. We discussed what each of us thought what fiction is. When I think of fiction I think of "Lord Of The Rings". The little grimlin character reminds me of something that is suppost to be a hero or a bad guy. When books have characters that are good or evil it reminds me of fiction because the story usually ends like a fairytale with a happy ending. I don't really read adult bboks but I do read childrens books and most of them are fiction. My daughters enjoy fiction because the ending is happy or something happened good to the character. I like reading books to them that have a moral to the ended so they can learn from it and then we discuss what the moral of the story was. I'll ask them questions like why was the character sharing, why was the character using words like thank you and yes sir? Then at the end they get the idea of sharing is the way we should be with others and using are manners is the way to speak. I certainly think books reflect on adults and children and we should not judge a book by its cover. From here on out I will definitely find a book that I like and start making time to read. Today in class I gathered that so many people read and make time for it because its relaxing and enjoying. Its also important to read to keep our minds stimulated and to learn new information and vocabulary.
